I have arranged to spend the 5 days October 1-5 with Dr. Kumar Ghorpade, Post-Graduate Teacher & Research Associate in Systematic Entomology, University of Agricultural Sciences, Krishi Nagar. He proposes that we visit Nandi Hills, Devarayanadurga Hills, Valley School on Kanakapura Road,
Bannerghatta Nature Camp, and the Horsley Hills for our adventures in Indian ecology. What a delight his emails to me and others he has posted to Bangalore Birds listserve have been! it seems we are kindred spirits - opinionated lovers of the natural world.
